Ive been combing through the firewall logs all afternoon and every hit from that address screams probe. The headers line up with a common toolkit but the payloads are tweaked just enough to slip past our filters. Cant decide if its a lazy bot or someone testing our alert system. Feels like its just probe sampling but id rather we catch them in the act before they get brave. Time to bolster the rules and watch for callbacks in the next audit.
