Just got an alert from the syslog showing a weird handshake at 3am that never completed. It kept retrying like its begging for some secret passphrase and i couldnt trace any legit user behind it. I poked around the firewall rules but nothing seems to block this phantom traffic. Could be ghost in the machine or maybe some bored script kiddie having fun. Ill keep digging but if youre seeing any random slowdowns speak up soon.
