I was sifting through the firewall logs late last night and saw that someone was hammering the server with login attempts from a place that dont align with anything ive got. It felt like a script kiddy running a port scan hoping for a backdoor but these hits were coming non stop for over an hour. I slapped on a block rule before it could really try anything nasty but man that gave me the creeps.
