Just spotted some tracable anomalies in our server logs funneling thru a weird edge node that spooled packets in a loop. I tried to follow the request chain in the logs and it was hopping continents like a ping pong ball. This isnt my first rodeo but the sheer volume of repeat login failures is starting to feel like an art installation.
